VILLA BELLE

Villa Belle is a project with a living room open to two levels in the central part of the building. We contemplated this variant for a long time, and we managed to implement it with clients who, in the process, introduced a few more changes—such as a pantry near the kitchen and a shared bathroom on the upper floor.

Lightness and modernity in a classical setting—this is perhaps a perfect summary of this project. Here, undisturbed symmetry takes the lead, with a strong emphasis on functionality inside and subtle color contrasts. All of this is complemented by captivating glazing with a view of the garden and a living room open to two levels with a mezzanine.

On the ground floor, there is a very comfortable and spacious kitchen with an island. The kitchen can be either secluded or open to the dining area, whose windows open directly onto the external terrace. In this variant, it has been enriched with a walk-through pantry—walk-through because you can access it both from the hallway and the kitchen itself. The living room and dining area are interconnected, creating a space of nearly 50 m². Within it, there is the possibility of creating a separate relaxation area with a TV or a small library, or a home office.

The ground floor also features a spacious boiler room, an additional utility room, and a wardrobe for outerwear, serving as a transition between the living area and the garage. The garage for two cars with internal dimensions of 7.7 × 6.3 m allows not only for easy parking but also for storing sports equipment or tools.

The first floor offers 96 m² of space, where we designed two bedrooms for children and a bathroom with a bathtub, shower, washbasin with a large countertop, and toilet. It is directly connected to a separate laundry room. Additionally, on this floor, there is the Master Bedroom with an area of 22.5 m², including a walk-in closet with a designated space for an island with drawers. The main bedroom has a front view, and the balcony above the main entrance belongs to the walk-in closet.

FINISHING MATERIALS

Villa Belle has been designed using traditional masonry construction techniques. The double-layered wall consists of 25 cm ceramic blocks (Porotherm) and 20 cm of high-quality styrofoam insulation.

The defining feature of this project is the large glazing in the living room, open to two levels. The other windows have no divisions with muntins and maintain a minimalist design. To give the building a more elegant character, we opted for wrought iron railings in the windows and on the front balcony. Above the garage, we introduced a simple attic to protect this technical space, also serving as a decorative finishing touch. To achieve a subtle contrast, we chose a very dark graphite color, which you will find on the window profiles, main doors, and garage gate.

Designing the immediate surroundings, we opted for the currently trendy paving slabs interspersed with grass. For pragmatists, we have reassuring news – the effect of perfectly trimmed grass can be achieved by using its artificial version! Additionally, we rely on low-maintenance shrubs and pampas grass, which perform exceptionally well in any conditions. To add a classic touch to the building, we propose a geometric arrangement with boxwood or yew hedge balls, which, as evergreen plants, will present a neat appearance even in winter.
