VILLA COLLINE

Villa Colline is a project created to meet the individual requirements of our investors. It is a single-story house with a partial basement, seamlessly integrated into the existing terrain and slope on a spectacular plot of land.

The work on the Villa Colline project proceeded systematically, with initial phone/email discussions with the clients, scheduling a meeting at the site, discussing all design and technical guidelines, as well as color schemes and finishing materials. A site visit and a “feel” for the land are crucial for us, especially when creating an individual project. Without seeing firsthand what we are working with, the axes of view, the terrain, or the existing greenery, the project will never fully integrate with the location where it is intended to be built. Therefore, regardless of the location, we always try to schedule a meeting and understand the entire context.

In the case of Villa Colline, besides dealing with the relatively challenging terrain, we had to consider the cardinal directions, ensuring that the entire living area was maximally illuminated, and the building itself was positioned parallel to the road for a proper driveway. There were many discussions and considerations until we finally found the optimal layout, ensuring beautiful natural light.

The entrance area to the building includes a designated vestibule with built-in wardrobes. The living area with the living room and dining room is nearly 70m², smoothly connected to the partially separated kitchen of 20m², which includes a pantry. On the ground floor, we designed two children’s rooms, a bathroom with a bathtub, and an office that can also serve as a guest room. Next to the building, there is a very convenient garage for 2 cars and a utility room with a boiler. From the garage, you enter the residential area through a space that serves as a wardrobe for outerwear.

You can access the basement located at -1 through comfortable stairs with a landing. In this area, we have designated an adult zone, including a playroom with space for a pool table or home theater, a fitness room, and the Master Bedroom. The main bedroom is integrated into the existing slope and has corner glazing, which also serves as an exit to the covered terrace with a SPA bath. The bedroom has its own wardrobe and a fully equipped bathroom. On -1, there is also a laundry room with a dryer and an ironing area.


FINISHING MATERIALS

The building has been designed using masonry technology, and the partial basement will be constructed with reinforced concrete. The 25cm insulation enhances the thermal parameter, and with a wall thickness of 50cm, the building is highly energy-efficient. Additionally, our projects always incorporate mechanical ventilation with heat recovery, which is essential for meeting standards and technical conditions.

The roof, with a slope of 30 degrees, has been slightly set back and concealed behind an attic. The elegant finish with standing seam metal complements the light-colored facade covered with high-quality mineral plaster. The ground floor level, integrated into the existing slope, has been separated from the rest of the building, and we proposed a gray color for this part. A beautiful detail in Villa Colline is the tall entrance doors surrounded by a stone portal and ornate wrought iron balustrades interspersed with solid pillars.

The building will be located on a remarkable plot with old trees, a stream inhabited by beavers, and an amazing slope. There are plans to create a pond in the area where water naturally appears. Access to the building has been planned using a roundabout with a minimalist water feature. On the side of the building, we have incorporated gentle terraced stairs, providing access to the Master zone located on the slope.
