VILLA PAVÉ
Villa Pavé [pawe] is a proposal that, despite its symmetrical elegance, will blend perfectly with the rural surroundings. The use of hand-formed clinker tiles complemented by cream-colored quoins creates the atmosphere of English estates surrounded by green meadows and fields.
This project is ideal for a 2+2 or 2+3 family configuration. It features optimal space utilization and a functional interior layout. The entrance to the building leads through a small vestibule with French-style sliding glass doors. From the hallway, you have access to a bathroom with a walk-in shower and a WC, as well as the staircase.
On the ground floor, there is a very comfortable and well-arranged kitchen with an island. Its tall cabinets easily serve as a utility pantry for storing supplies. The dining area is visually separated from the kitchen by a half-wall with barstools, making it a great place for creating a breakfast zone. The living space covers nearly 40 m² and actually appears much larger due to the open connection to the hallway (9 m²) and the kitchen. On the ground floor, there is also ample space for a quite spacious office (17 m²). Depending on your needs, there is the possibility of expanding the living room into this space, for example, creating a home library with a reading nook.
Most of the rooms on the ground floor have high windows that provide perfect lighting and also serve as an exit to the outdoor terrace. On this level, you will also find the utility room connected to the laundry room and a spacious wardrobe for outerwear.
The first floor covers nearly 115 m² of space arranged for 3 children’s bedrooms and a master bedroom with its own bathroom and walk-in closet. The children’s bedrooms have access to a fully equipped bathroom with a bathtub, walk-in shower, double sinks, toilet, and bidet. Meanwhile, the Master Bedroom has the added bonus of a front-facing balcony. The smallest children’s bedroom or guest room has a beautiful triple window overlooking the garden and a balcony with an area of 13 m², which is perfect for enjoying sunbaths.
For this building, a detached garage is recommended, which will not disrupt its symmetry and the established proportions. The double garage with additional space for bicycles, lawnmowers, or other garden equipment adheres to the classic principles of architecture. We have proposed a double segmented gate, which can have an additional glass panel at the top. There is also the option of installing two single garage doors. The building has an independent side entrance and windows providing natural daylight.

FINISHING MATERIALS
Willa Pavé was designed using traditional bricklaying techniques, employing ceramic blocks. It does not have a basement. The building’s insulation features high-quality styrofoam. The exterior is finished with hand-formed clinker tile with a cream-colored mortar. It is complemented by plastered bonia, window sills, and a crown molding, all in a color harmonized with the mortar.
In this project, we have not only unique windows with Viennese muntins but also beautiful wooden shutters in cream color that perfectly complement the brick. The double-leaf entrance door is a true masterpiece with a wide wooden frame, delicate glazing, and intricate forged decoration, making the building even more refined yet still retaining its character. The hipped roof of this rural villa has a 35-degree slope and is finished with standing seam metal in a graphite color. The building’s gutters are located on the upper cornice, making them invisible. Downspouts, on the other hand, are designed to be concealed, preserving the facade’s high aesthetic.
In arranging the building’s surroundings, we opted for a simple hedge made of low-cut yews, various types of grass, and ferns. Woodland plants blend with flowering shrubs and plantings of Yucca gloriosa. In the garden, we have created two relaxation zones. The first one is fully covered and has direct access from the living room, while the second one is located at the back of the garden. In this area, we have proposed a custom-designed fire pit on an elevation. It was created based on a circle and finished with hand-formed clinker tiles. The center of this zone is occupied by a fire pit, surrounded by comfortable armchairs. The circle motif appears in another place as decorative garden lighting, illuminating the plantings around.
