WILLA DE JARDIN
Villa de Jardin is a project created on the individual request of our investors. The classic form features a unique garage layout dictated by the shape of the plot, and an extraordinary kitchen inspired by winter gardens, with large windows and a skylight.
When designing Villa de Jardin, we were guided by very precisely defined guidelines from our investors and fairly restrictive provisions of the Building Conditions. Already after the first presentation, we knew that we had hit the clients’ taste, and only the details and the details of the elevation remained to be fine-tuned. In our work, we are primarily guided by proper preparation for the project. We thoroughly discuss both the project assumptions and the visions and desires of future residents, in order to best tailor the concept to them and achieve their full satisfaction.
The building will be located on a beautiful, urban plot with almost ideal proportions. The only drawback is the five-meter access to the public road, which largely dictated the final location and the “L”-shaped garage layout. The effect we managed to achieve harmonizes with the concept of a classic villa and, at the same time, offers space for three cars and additional space for a DIY enthusiast with a four-meter workbench.
We enter the building through a mini-vestibule with doors hidden in cassettes. Just behind them, we have a representative hall with a beautiful staircase and side doors to a wardrobe for outerwear, which also serves as a passage to the garage. The living space is over 55 m², where we have arranged a TV lounge with comfortable sofas and a dining area for 8-12 people. It is directly connected to the covered terrace, with a relaxation area, an additional table, and a summer kitchen. The main kitchen, measuring 40 m², is located in the glazed area, inspired by winter gardens. We have a large amount of storage, an island, and a breakfast area with a round table. The kitchen is accompanied by a pantry, which is a pass-through room, in communication with the garage. On the ground floor, we also found space for a mini fitness room, a comfortable laundry room, a home office for two people, and a bathroom with a shower.
The key area on the first floor is, of course, the Master Bedroom, with an adjacent wardrobe and “His & Hers” bathrooms. “His & Hers bathrooms” are an increasingly common design concept where each person has their own area designed for individual preferences. This floor also includes three additional bedrooms for children ranging in size from 15 to 17 m². The arrangement of each includes a comfortable bed (140 cm), a desk area, bookshelves, and built-in wardrobes. Each bedroom has access to a comfortable bathroom equipped with a bathtub, shower, toilet, and double sinks with a spacious countertop.



MATERIAŁY WYKOŃCZENIOWE
During the visualization phase, we worked with a dual color scheme for the building—a subdued white with contrasting windows and a graphite roof, as well as warmer beiges and lighter windows. Ultimately, the more contrasting version was chosen. The facade is entirely finished with high-quality mineral plaster. A dark-colored plaster was designed for part of the covered terrace and the bay window from the kitchen, effectively highlighting this section of the building.
On the roof with a slope of 30 degrees, we designed ceramic roofing tiles in a matte graphite color. Darker-toned porcelain tiles, which mimic natural stone beautifully, were chosen for the terraces and the entrance to the building. The walls of the building are made of 24-centimeter silicate blocks with 25 cm thick styrofoam insulation, allowing for even higher energy efficiency.
The immediate surroundings of the building were proposed in a minimalist form. Decorative grasses, lavender, and flowering shrubs are planted. Along the property line, a beautiful spreading oak tree grows, providing a lovely backdrop for the classic shape of the building. Around the entire plot, we proposed a tall hedge of yews to ensure privacy.
