LOVELY HOUSE

We were responsible for the facade design of a building that was originally designed by another architectural firm. The investors wanted a more rustic style while using high-quality materials.

The design we received had very good proportions and architectural concepts, but our clients wanted to give it a more English character and better adapt it to the forested setting of the plot where it’s being built. We, therefore, opted for tried-and-true materials and an earthy color palette. Limestone, handmade brick tiles in shades of beige and brown, and high-quality mineral plasters will be used.

The original design included numerous stucco and decorative facade elements. In our version, we significantly reduced their quantity and level of ornamentation, opting for more refined and subtle elements. We simplified the cornice, removed some pilasters and columns, and combined off-white on the facade with brick, allowing us to achieve an excellent result.

Beautiful wrought-iron railings with a simple design and charming shutters matching the window frames are the perfect complement. We proposed windows with large mullions in an unconventional shade of gray-beige. The main doors and garage doors were designed in the same color. At the front, we removed part of the roof over the kitchen bay window, and the double columns were reduced in favor of a very elegant niche, resembling a door portal, finished with natural stone.
